Enrollment Process
Kiddie Campus is a for-profit business. To meet our budgeted expenses and provide our students with the best care possible, we must operate at full capacity. We offer only full-time care 4-5 days per week and limited drop-in services for school age children. As per our license, we will enroll children ages newborn to five years.
If a space becomes available, children will be admitted regardless of their race, color, sex, national origin, religion, creed, ancestry, or disability. We will do our best to accommodate children with special needs in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. Acceptance will be considered on an individual basis and will be based on the needs of the child and our ability to meet those needs. Kiddie Campus Child Care Center, Inc. subscribes to a policy of nondiscrimination and will maintain and conduct all practices relating to recruitment and enrollment of children, behavior guidance and other terms, conditions and benefits of the childcare program in a manner which does not discriminate based on any of the above-mentioned criteria.
Classes are filled on a first come, first served basis. A child may be placed on a waiting list if the age-appropriate class is full. This does not guarantee that child a place. When there is an opening, eligible families will be contacted in the order of their waiting-list date starting with the earliest date. Should a family choose to decline the offer of placement; the next eligible family will be contacted. Priority is always given to siblings of currently enrolled students. When a family chooses to accept the offer, the one-time registration fee will be due immediately to hold a place for that child. This registration fee is charged only once per family and is non-refundable.
For parents who want/need to hold a space for your child for a future enrollment date more than two weeks away, you will be responsible to pay the one-time registration fee and half of the fixed weekly rate each week until your child’s first day.
For a child to be admitted, the Center must have all forms included in the Enrollment Packet completed and current immunization records on file for that child before the child’s first day of attendance. Children will not be admitted without these documents. A new enrollment form will be provided at the beginning of each school year but can be updated at any time.
All personal information regarding enrolled children and their families will remain confidential and will be respected. DHS childcare licensing representatives will inspect children’s files once per year to ensure the Center’s compliance with the state mandated requirements.
